Mrs. Anu Chacko, National President ( INDIA )

As the National President of Green Asian Voice Council and also the National Secretary of Rashtriya Janata Dal, I’m honoured to take this huge responsibility in Green Asian Voice Council, a non profit organization that aims to reduce air pollution in India, especially New Delhi, the most polluted capital city in the world, along with worlds top polluted cities and most of them being in India too with Ghaziabad city in Uttar Pradesh, almost leading the world in pollution.

Apart from mere awareness programs we believe in practical implementation of changes that has to desperately happen and that’s where our Organisation makes a difference by converting maximum fuel powered vehicles to electric vehicles, ordinary houses to solar houses and so on. As the trans-portation sector becomes the single biggest reason in deteriorating air quality we are keen in fastening the available alternative to the people by educating them to digest a slogan that my next vehicle will be an electric vehicle or my first vehicle will be an electric vehicle.

In 2019 the air pollution deaths in India was nearly 17 lakhs but in the year 2020 when the lockdown due to covid-19 pandemic was taking place the air pollution deaths was reduced to nearly two lakhs only, which clearly shows that the absence of poisonous emissions from the vehicles was the reason for saving the huge air pollution deaths. This is really a horrific situation where the government after knowing the real facts, still continues to use this poisonous fuel as a tool of getting maximum taxes, without considering its disasters.

Embracing the moral responsibility of a former journalist who served as the managing editor of a news magazine, I will use all my political as well as social experience of the past 25 years to build a new India with clean air to breathe and and thereby try to save the millions of lives lost due to air pollution along with the billions of people affected by chronic respiratory diseases which made it easy for the Covid - 19 to attack and kill our dear ones so easily. So I humbly welcome you to be a part of our Green Revolution Movement for fighting against air pollution... Let’s Go Green.

Adv. Ajay Prathap Verma, Chief Executive Director

It is a famous quote that we have come across once in our lives that “To err is to be human”, but I believe, to rectify your mistake is to be a smart human. Therefore, after realising the gravity of the problem and analysing the standard of our existence I have concluded that it is high time that we, the Human Race in its entirety, should try to resolve this magnanimous disaster that we ourselves have created. So, I found my medium of expressing support and service through Green Asian Voice Council and I pledge to convey my 100% service to the cause our organisation is aiming for. Thus, I humbly welcome you all who have been and who would join us in this wonderful endeavour.

Jeevan Choudhary, International Director

I remember the little sparrow in my courtyard, our fond memories together in childhood. Well now these fond memories have become faint, not due to age, but due to air pollution. Everyone would be surprised as to how that is possible, it is absolutely possible, as the ill effects of this man-made atrocity has not just affected our lives, but has also, harshly affected many species and their life cycles. The immense amount of pollution accumulating in cities have forced birds, animals, and other organisms to either retreat, encounter or fall mercilessly the prey to air pollution and its murderous effects. Therefore, it is our moral responsibility to make things right as we and only we are responsi-ble for this disaster called air pollution. Thus, let’s all come together under this umbrella of care and concern called “THE GREEN ASIAN VOICE COUNCIL”, and change the shape of this world for the good of all.

DOMINIC J KURISHUMMOTTIL, General Secretary

My experience for more than a decade in Australia and other countries have forced me to arrive at a conclusion that Air pollution is the biggest disaster, the world is facing now and undoubtedly it can be termed as an Universal disaster which kills millions of people and to be more sad, billions of people being affected by chronic diseases too. Considering this horrible situation of massive air pollution, I have decided to dedicate the rest of my life to coperate with efforts that will reduce air pollution and therby provide the cleanest of air possible to the innocent people, which I humbly feel that its their basic right to get clean air to breathe. For this reason I decided to associate with Green Asian Voice, an International Non profit Organization which has the most wonderful policies that I have ever seen, to make a forceful change in the quality of air around us and the best way to go green.

In fact I am really happy that the new generation has also identified that air pollution is the biggest problem that our universe is facing, because my two daughters Megha and Varsha are my real motivators now, by always updating me about the latest disastrous effects of air pollution and also prompting me to spend the rest of my life for this real social cause. In fact they are also keen to associate me, after finishing their studies and it was they who gave me a shock by googling a reality that more than a million people loose their lives in India itself out of air pollution. That was the moment where I really took a decision and postponed all my furthur buisness dreams and decided to join the fight against air pollution, to make my life a meaningful one. Lets Go Green.
